The Skiing
A Winter Wonderland with unlimited potential
Morzine and Saint Jean d'Aulps are situated in the centre of the Portes du Soleil ski domain - a vast and magical winter wonderland encompassing many of France and Switzerland's most beautiful ski resorts. Saint Jean d'Aulps also has it's own ski area - Espace Roc d'Enfer. This is a hidden gem offering the perfect place for beginners to progress and untracked routes for powder lovers to explore.
The Portes du Soleil
The Portes du Soleil is a group of 14 French and Swiss ski resorts which, with 650km of slopes, is the largest ski area in the world. It has a great snow record and endless skiing and boarding potential for people of all abilities. It offers:
- 206 ski lifts
- 288 slopes (41 green, 109 blue, 110 red, 28 black)
- 9 board parks, 5 boarder-cross, 4 snow-cross, 3 half-pipes (including arguably the best board park in Europe at Les Crosets)

The local ski area (Espace Roc d'Enfer)
The local Saint Jean d'Aulps ski area comprises:
- 40 kms of pistes in a natural and protected environment
- 20 slopes (4 green, 5 blue, 10 red, 1 black)
- 14 ski lifts
- glorious views of the Dents du Midi, Lake Geneva and the majestic Roc d'Enfer
