Morzine and Saint Jean d'Aulps are situated in the centre of the Portes du Soleil ski domain - a vast and magical winter wonderland encompassing many of France and Switzerland's most beautiful ski resorts. The Portes du Soleil

The Portes du Soleil is a group of 14 French and Swiss ski resorts which, with 650km of slopes, is the largest ski area in the world. It has a great snow record and endless skiing and boarding potential for people of all abilities. It offers:

• 288 slopes (41 green, 109 blue, 110 red, 28 black)

The local ski area (Espace Roc d'Enfer)

The local Saint Jean d'Aulps ski area comprises:

• 40 kms of pistes in a natural and protected environment
• 20 slopes (4 green, 5 blue, 10 red, 1 black)
• 14 ski lifts
